Pink and Gold for Valentine's Day

Been searching Pinterest for some Valentine's Day inspiration and came across these beautiful decorations from +A Shade Of Teal.  Just what I had in mind.  Something a little softer and "vintagier" (is that a word?) than your every day red, white and pink.  So here it is - and my very favorite is the little pink ribbon heart wreath! My mantel is still bare after removing all of the Christmas stuff.  So I'm ready to transform it!

Beauty Basics

Sharing my favorite makeup today.  Believe me - I've tried them all!!  And I have a graveyard to prove it.  But Chanel has made the top of my list for years.  Right now I'm using Le Lift moisturizer, Lift Lumiere foundation and Les Beiges healthy glow powder.  These are found at Nordstrom.

Hi! It's 2017

I have two main times of the year that I want to completely redo my home. Jan, Feb, and Mar and then again in the fall. So - even tho I'm still slowly putting away the Holidays, I'm actively planning my next decorating project. It's been snowing for almost a week now. This California girl hates the snow! It totally puts me in a PJ type funk! (Stay in PJ's all day. 😩) but I know how to push through and I will overcome!!💪🏻  
Heres what's on my project list:
-   Strip Quilt
-   Paint Bedroom Set
-   Paint Kitchen Cabinets 😳
-   Shiplap Every Room 😂
-   Redecorate Sitting Room
-   I'm "always" doing little kitchen touch-ups

This is just for starters!  I have high hopes and huge intentions. (We all have to have goals - right?). Hubby bought me a gorgeous new painting to go above my kitchen fireplace. (I will post soon. It's a whole blog post in itself). That will require some additional decor. So - wish me luck and lots of "you go girls"!
