Here's how they turned out!

You will love this recipe! Easy, fast and
delicious! I rolled dough into walnut
size balls. Flattened slightly with the
bottom of a glass, baked and then
frosted with cream cheese frosting (to
which I added a little bit of almond
and vanilla flavoring and green food
coloring.  Yummy!!

St. Patrick's Day means "Green" food at our house

We actually had our Traditional Irish Feast last Thursday. However - I am making
some "green" shortbread cookies for our treat tomorrow. (links to both recipes).

(This was easy to make - looked just like the picture -
and was absolutely delicious! Oh yeah, and it was
in the "slow cooker"!)

Here's the "green" shortbread cookies I'm making:

I know - they aren't green! I'm going to add green food coloring. I will
also modify the recipe (from "eat sum more" shortbread cookies - thank you
for sharing) by  adding a little almond flavoring. Note - they key to really great
shortbread cookies is the powdered sugar in the dough! I will also do
a light swirl of green cream cheese frosting  on top! Enjoy!

Here's a cute Irish Blessing

May your cottage be well thatched
And may those inside be well matched!

Shalom!

St. Patty's Day!

Happy St. Patty's Day and all O' that Blarney!
(looks like I only post about once a year! Ha)
Oh well - here's my Irish entryway decor!
Hope you like it.

Mine was my first attempt. It was hard
to get them really green.
Next one will be better. Plus it got really
mashed in my suitcase (mom and I did them).
It looks sorta ok from far away!
Bless ye!
